Kid's safety is in our hand !
A woman living not far from my home gave birth to twin brother and sister, but due to little disposition, she is still in hospital while her kids are home under the care of her husband and mother-in-law.
TRAGEDY comes: In her home, they keep a big black mean dog, and just when the mother-in-law went downstairs leaving babies home for a short time, the dog bited and ate the babies, both died! when the old woman returned, she could not bear it and jumped from the windowsill. Her son almost went mad and just recovered a little, while the wife is still in hospital totally unaware of all these. A family broke down in this way.
I really don't know what to say except feel deeply sorry.

This sounds like something out of a movie, not from real life. I sure wouldn't want to be the one to have to tell the mother all that has happened. I surely hope that they get a lot of moral support from friends and family. They are going to need it for a very long time. My heart goes out to them. (I hope they put the dog down).

Yes, it is a positive truth which i would not believe just as you do. But a family breaks just like that. And the husband should bear the main responsibility for it is a common sense that when wife is having baby, we must get the dog esp. big one away for her health. What's more, that big dogs are forbidden to be kept in apartment by our laws. it's a big dog, not a pet ! Even though it hadn't eaten the babies, it would hurt neighbour sooner or later. The potential danger explode anytime.
