What does this sign stand for?

THe ring that is always found in front of any Mercedez benz stand for the symbol of the car,but does anybody know what exactly it stands for? It looks so destinct that no other make of any car can immitate,i can see why they are destinct as well. Do you agree with me that they are destict in everything? I personally like the car because of the ring they put infront of the car and the fact that its not a front wheel drive.1 response

alpha, yes you are right the Mercedez really are destinct from so many other cars. And this symbol does stand out.It is a 3 pointed star with a Laural Wreath attatched to the car.This 3 pointed star represents" Road,Air,Sea. "The Star Is Guiding Motorists Everywhere. Is their saying.
