Automatically logged out...

There have been occasions in which I was writing a long post or reply, and when I clicked submit, I found that I had been automatically logged out with no way of refreshing the thoughtful (at least three paragraphs or more in length) post or reply I had planned to submit. This has happened to me at least three or four times in the past two days, and it is quite frustrating, as it is a big waste of time to write such a long post and then not get any credit for it, and be too bummed out by what happened to be able to write a post of the same quality again in addition...
Sometimes, I even copy and paste the post url and write my response in a word document and copy and paste to the site to prevent this from happening.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there some sort of time limit in which you have to be logged in without clicking through anything in order to remain logged in? I didn't seem to have this problem so much during my earlier days here.
(I have copied these words, to save me the trouble of starting all over again if I find myself logged out before I can post this discussion!!)

Good to see I am not alone in this! I, too, hope MyLot fixes this malfunction, as it really is annoying!

Hello! I know exactly what you mean, but as oppose to you I do not yet have the option of copying and pasting, so my discussions are just lost :(
However, I have noticed (and heard from other users) that if you tick the box "remember me" when you log in you stay logged on. I have still been logged out once or twice but not nearly as often. You might want to try that, it might help!

Yes, I believe you must have at least 500 posts before you have the copy and paste option... It looks like you're well on your way there, though! =) Thanks a lot for the tip! I'll be sure to give it a try!
