Yes that was really a bad day for entire world. How to forget. And how some one can do like them. then don't even fear to god. Its horrible. I don't remember any other day in history which is to be more memorable than this date. I still feel some fear in my mind whenever i see that zero ground on TV.

Hello dear jhl. I think that it is those memorial and historical dates as well as some important dates in our life that can be always remembered without being wiped off. Thank you for your discussion.

Yes 911 is the day I dont' think any of us will ever forget, watching tose towers fall and kowing those people was inside brought me to my knees. How could any bunch of people be so cruel or sick. But I also remember the day they shot President Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King, all brought on by worthless people who hate. But I have heard that they are waiting and already in the usa and this next hit will make 911 look like nothing, why do we have to live in such a world and I do believe that once Obama if he gets in will only make it easier for it to happen.

The three days that have stuck in my mind are: November 22, 1963 - when JFK was shot. I was in 6th grade. July 20, 1969 - when Neil Armstrong became the first man on the moon. And...September 11, 2001

9/11 will always stand out in my mind. It is the day after my oldest daughter's birthday, and it was the most horrible thing I've ever witnessed even if it was on TV, not in person. Another day that always stands out in my mind is December 7, 1941, the day Pearl Harbor was bombed. I don't remember it as I was not quite 11 months old at the time, but my uncle joined the navy the next day. I only saw him when he was granted leave for the next 4 years. Fortunately he did come home safe and sound.

I think Sept. 11th will always be the day remembered by all younger people because we were actually old enough to remember it ya know. But I will never forget that day. I was in 9th grade and was going to my 3rd period class which was math and one of the guys in my class come out of the room and told me a plane just hit one of the WTC buildings and I was like "No your lying" because he was a joker. I walked in the class room and looked at the t.v. and my eyes filled with tears as the were showing images of the second building being hit. Of course I don't know anyone who lives in N.Y. and I live in TN but it was still scary seeing our homeland being attacked like that and all those innocent people dying. All day that day in school we didnt do anything but watch the news to find out what was going on.
