Someone just tried to take mine today. I got a email asking if I knew this party I cancelled the link then I went back to my username and changed my password. I have had this happene to me before but the first time someone actully got into my ebay account and was selling stuff on it. I had to call ebay to tell them what all I was selling. I hated that someoe took my old ebay account away from me. I kept getting emails about cellphones and stuff that this other person who i do not know had added. i had to tell them i have no idea someone else added that. I am glad today this got caught before it was to late.

There are indeed lots of hackers out there. One can't be too careful. Good for you that you got to report it right away. If they got that in ebay, i wonder if the site is no longer as secure? Such is a very disturbing thought indeed. We just have to be extra vigilant and maybe a bit paranoid in protecting our accounts. Better be paranoid than sorry later.

Thanks for this post..I am amazed really! How they do it? is it someone you knew or just a hacker online! I am scared now, LOL! I will check my different accounts if there are strange things going on!

If it is someone I know I have no idea who it is. So be sure to check your accounts and change your passwords. No one I know knows my password. It could be my ex husband but then again I got to thinking he doesn't know the email address that I have my ebay account on. So I have no idea who or how this happened. It happened to me before a couple o years ago. The first time whoever did it added things to sell underneath my name. i have to call ebay to tell them what had happened and to also take off everything that the other person had added then I had to start up a new account.

Hey, how could they do that? Some kind of a hacker. I am afraid for myself, if they can freely do that to you, it can happened to me also. How can we avoid it? what if they will guess your password again. I think I must change my password too. A difficult combination of password may do. Thanks for your discussion.

I am not sure. Luckily ebay sent me a letter that it had been sropped before the person got into it. I onder if my ex husband has something to do with this. Or his new wife. I am going to have to change my password very often just to make sure no one else tries to mess with it. Of course there are quite a few hackers online which scares me.
