I started last Tuesday a week ago and it took me 10 days working until 11:30 pm or later and getting up at 6:30 and starting as soon as I could. I have worked so hard but my son and his wife's baby shower is tomorrow, Saturday, and they wanted this Harley Davidson afghan done for the shower. Wow my crocheting hands and fingers are tired! I took a picture and I hope and pray that I can get it attached. Thanks for reading and God bless you!

I know how you feel....when my son in law was stationed in Korea I made him a quilt for christmas....I had to ship it about six weeks before christmas to make sure it got there on time....the pattern was a booger and when I finished the last stitch I sad down and cried! LOL

I can associate with you on the crying completely. It is like a release of all the stress and pressure of getting it done on time. God bless you.

Cathie! That is beautiful, now I understand why it took so long. You did an excellant job, they are going to love it. I know your hands and arms and fingers have to be worn out. I hope you take pictures of the mom-to-be when she opens it. She and your son are going to be so surprised. I think meemee may be spoiling a new little grandson already and he isn't even here yet!!!

Congratulations in getting the afghan ready in time. I know your fingers and hands have to be sore, because when I crochet my fingers and hands hurt. I'm responding to this discussion through my email so I will have to check it out after I submit this.

That is so cool!! You have a talent you could make a lot of money with!! Why don't you do these for profit? You could sell them through the net, I found a new place yesterday where people see their crafts and artwork. Go to etsy dot com and check it out!

I may check it out. I wish I could sell them, I love doing it but am afraid no one would want to pay the price that it would cost to buy one. Thanks for the post and God bless you!

Fanastic job, now that it is done, you can go to the shower and enjoy yourself. Without any regrets that you would have liked to have made it but thought you did not have enought time. See what can be done when one set their mind to it
Good job

You sure as heck did an amazing job! That looks like it could be sold in a store, and for a high price! I think they will love it, and I can't believe how fast you completed everything you had to take care of. You'll have to let us know how they reacted when they saw the blanket. I think awe is probably what they felt when they got their first look!

Well instead of wrapping it they wanted it hung up on the lattice decorative panel to let everyone see it. Thanks for the sweet words. God bless you!

What a great job! I can't believe you did that in 10 days. If I did that my hand and fingers wouldn't just be tired, they'd be cramping and twisting themselves up like pretzels.

I love this pattern so much and would love to make it for a Christmas gift for 2018. My friend owns a Harley. May I have the instructions and chart to crochet for this beautiful afghan. How much do you charge for the instructions? You can e-mail me at : barbarakruza@yahoo.com. Thank you!
