Did I make a mistake? I have found many Brits over here in Spain who only rip off their own people! What is that all about? Could they not survive in England coz they were crap, only to leave in order to take advantage of people from their own country somewhere else in the world?
Your thoughts please.

I can't say about all brits but I moved to a rural community in canada and the only british people I know that came here TOTALLY scammed our welfare and communities services. Worked under the table, living in the government housing collecting welfare and going to our food banks. One family that got caught fled the country before they could go to jail.
Not all are like that I am sure but so far the only ones that came hear are leeches and not assets to society.

Oh dear vicki, there are some awful people out there and they are not doing the reputation of the Brits any good at all.
You know, most Brits in their own country are lovely, honest and law abiding, it seems to be the ones who run away that have the bad traits.
