Yes, as CharRay says, they look like any other horse except much larger in the stomach. Plus sometimes if they are used as a broodmare that has a foal every year for years, they can have somewhat of a swayback. Also their udders can secret a waxy substance but you'd have to be close to them to see that! lol

Hi my friend,
I've attached a photo of a pregnant mare. To me the only difference in this one and regular mare is she's much larger in the tummy. lol
