Okay So I'm 19 and I wasn't really able to enjoy all that music from the old days. I just discovered this song when I was watching Waynes's World. And I decided that I needed to have it so I got it and now I am addicted to it. There are times when I wished that I was born in an earlier time because of all that wondeful music. What do you guys think about that song?

Bohemien Rapsody(sp) is my favorite "Queen" song. I actually had the pleasure of seeing them perform it live in 1977 when I went to the concert with my parents. I love Freddie Murcury's voice and I feel we lost him too soon. You might appreciate other Queen songs if you like this one. "Somebody to Love" is one of my favorites. I'm 39. My heyday was the 80's, but I'm at an age where I was greatly exposed to music of the 60's and 70's and I'm still young enough to appreciate music from the 90's and today. GOod luck in your quest. If you need anything, let me know.

You saw them in concert! That is so cool. I'm actually listening to the song right now. But I'll make sure to check out Somebody to love. I appreciate music from those eras too. I love music from right now but I feel so free when I listen to music from the 70's, 80's and early 90's. Thanks

I think it's an awesome song. Queen, I believe, was the first rock band to play around with so many parts of harmony. It was almost an rock opera in itself. The music back then truly was outstanding but then again, today's music might also be appreciated by generations still to come. Although I disagree with Freddie Mercury's lifestyle he was a great entertainer, singer/writer. Keep finding those classics, my friend.

"Although I disagree with Freddie Mercury's lifestyle" Why did you have to bring that into a fun discussion?? Chat about sexuality elsewhere. This is about the music.

My bad. He was a great entertainer and songwriter. Queen also did the theme song for "Highlander." Awesome song.

Oh yeah they were geniuses all right. They made songs that inspired many and that touched a lot of people. We still hear some of their most memorable songs today and kids still sing it and like it. Their music will always be alive.

I think Bohemian Rhapsody is a wonderful song. You are right, there was so much wonderful music during that era. There were so many fantastic groups and so many different types of music. Today's popular music is quite different. It's difficult to find really good music to listen to. This is why I usually listen to radio stations that play "Oldies" or I play CDs of some of my favorites. Take care, ayumitakashi. And enjoy all the music you can.

I really enjoy many types of music. I am really into Hip Hop because I grew up listening to it. But I also love other types of music and I like to find songs that I have never heard of before. Take care and Happy Mylotting! ^_^

Hi, ayumitakashi! Queen rediscovered! Queen is one of the best rock bands of the 80's and I love Bohemian Rapsody. That song has been rediscovered and revived several times and here you are being resurrected again in you! Great!

Well I am glad that I Have resurrected it again. Thanks to watching Wayne's World. If I hadn't watched it I wouldn't have know about it. But I am really liking this song. The lyrics and and the harmony and just everything about it. And I checked out the video too which was pretty cool.

Hi! I like that song! I already heard of it before but I forgot the title until I heard it again in American Idol, when Michael sang it. His rendition was very good that I thought he can make it to the top, but anyways.... So I searched about it and know that it's a Queen song..yeah, its so nice, the lyrics are good and the melody, wow! it pierces through my soul....im 22 though, and i like alternative songs, but this one, no matter how old it is, still sounds very good, just like bonnie tyler's total eclipse of the heart, you agree? hehhe

Oh yeah. The lyrics are superb and the melody is just amazing. I haven't heard of Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the heart but I'm going to look for it.

Well, take it personally from someone who remembers when "Bohemian Rhapsody" was quite popular, this type of music really takes me back when I hear it. I will admit, that is some Great music to listen too as well. I really also enjoyed it when Constantine did it on American Idol a couple of yrs. ago as well.

You know what I don't really listen to music that old. Actually I may have listened to a few songs and now know that it was from that era. But I'll have to check it out and see what it's like.

Oh yea, I love a lot of Queen songs. It doesn't matter that you were not born earlier. You can still enjoy that music now. My boys are around your age and they listen to all my old music from the 80's and they love it. I still have all my old CD's from back then and it's funny to see my boys borrowing them and not wanting to give them back! Lol! They like Journey, Def Leppard, and The Cars. That's all I can think of at the moment.

I know it's like music from those eras where so... I really can't find the words right now but I feel so free and good whenever I listen to music from that time. I love traveling back in time and listening to songs like that. Right now I've really gotten into AC/DC and all those bands from back then. I'm going to check out Journey, Def Leppard and The Cars to see if I like them. Have a nice evening and Happy mylotting!
