My craze for new notebooks

Everytime i want to learn a new subject, i need a new book to write its notes. Sometimes, even for the same subject, i feel like making notes in a different perspective in a new notebook. Like people start paragraphs, i start new notebooks. Is his really an okay habit? I cant seem to pull out of it somehow. And in the end, i have a lot of notebooks, but i can remember what i wrote in each.
