Both have their pros and cons. Contacts are more stylish, but they can get dry and irritated and they can sometimes be a pain in the butt to put in. Glasses are more convenient and less expensive, but they can break and arent always so fashionable. I used to have glasses and I hated them. I looked like a geek, they pinched my nose and I was always losing them. I have contacts now and Ilove them despite the fact that they arent always so convenient or comfortable. What's your opinion? Which do you prefer to wear and why?

Contacts are definitely a pain to put in--I would say that it gets better with practice, but it still hurts my eyes every so often. There are times when I wish I could switch back to glasses simply because contact lenses are too painful. Glasses can make you look bad, but I think it depends on the style of the glasses. It's possible to buy glasses that are "fashionable" and aren't quite so geeky.

I want to get a pair of glasses too, but I can't find any that I look good in. I'm just not one of those people who can pull it off.

hi.. I was advised to wear eye glasses. But because I'm not comfortable with it, I only wear it when I'm inside the classroom or when Im facing a computer. But I have never used contacts. I am afraid too.. And I really dont want to try as they mey irritate my eyes. I would still prefer eye glasses. there are some fashionable eye glasses. Mine is one of them.

Yeah. Some people just look good in glasses. I look bad in them no matter what kind they are. When I wore glasses I only needed them to see the board in class, but now I am so blind that I have to wear them all the time. I'm glad you're happy with your glasses.

I would never wear contacts. I don't like the idea of inserting something in my eyes. I would rather wear glasses and look like a geek. No offense meant Sketch. Just my opinion.

No offense taken. I understand the turn off of putting things in your eyes. When I first got them I was really scared to touch my eyes, but now it doesnt bother me at all. And not everyone looks geeky in glasses. Some people actually look really good in glasses. I'm just not one of those people. Thanks for responding.
