Hi, I haven't heard anything like this, my oldest son had been doing this for a few years, and has not yet to get any kind of a letter to this day about this. so I will have to ask and make sure to tell him to keep an eye out for this, but this is good info if it's true. thanks for sharing:) Bizmom24

I don't know if it's illegal or not but let me offer a warning about limewire and other file sharing sites...and that is that they are infected with viruses and worms. My daughter infected this computer via limewire, she also infected her computer in the same way with the same trojans and my older daughter who lives nextdoor has recently had to battle all kinds of trash on her computer because of limewire. In my opinion it's never safe to download something onto your system that has not been guaranteed safe. It's like drinking after a complete stranger.

downloading copyright files thru limewire has always been illegal. when you download something from limewire, you get it free. no one has paid for that. so people are downloading stuff that otherwise has to be paid for. musicians lose revenue because of that.
