I was totally shocked this morning, my husband and I were going to a hot air balloon show. We needed gas, but left home around 6 in the morning and a lot of stations were still closed. We headed on down the highway, and lo and behold, we see a gas station that is opened selling gas for $3.78 per gallon. My husband whipped into the lot so fast. To see that gas needle go up to 3/4 was a blessing, we have not been able to buy a full tank. Are the prices going down where you are?

When out on a walk this morning, I had to do a double take at the gas station just up the street from me. Just yesterday the sign read $3.99/gallon, today it had dropped to $3.50/gallon. Yeah my jaw hit the ground and my eyes nearly bulged from my eye sockets. I haven't worried much about the gas prices, since I stay at home a lot and the things I need are within walking distance, but it was still shocking to see such a drop, never thought I would see it that low around here again.

Mine hasn't dropped all that much. Although, I should be happy it stays below the national average.
