I have been thinking long and hard and I decided I wanted to post a discussion on this community,and ask has anyone out there every gotten the autograph of someone famous that they really admire?If so,whose autograph did you get,and what makes you admire them?If not,is there someone whose autograph you want to get because you admire them or what they do?Let me say that this past Friday night I had the honor of getting the autograph of one of the greatest people I have ever met in my lifetime,the autograph I put up,and this will remain as one of the most inspiring nights of my life,I do not know if you have ever heard of a country singer named Kevin Sharp,and I had not really heard of him,until he played a charity concert at our local YMCA for the Relay For Life,which for those who may not have heard of it,it is a benefit that honors the men and women who have fought cancer and lived,and honors the memory of those who have lost their lives to the fight with cancer,Kevin Sharp was a cancer survivor himself, and when he found out about the event,he backed up his tour bus from his tour,and stopped at our little town to help raise money to help find a cure for cancer when he finished up on stage and was going to leave,My fiance and I approached him and asked for an autograph,and he was so nice and instead of telling me he did not have the time,he happily signed my relay brochure thing,my fiance was looking at his website a little while ago,and she pointed out to me,that he is involved with multiple charity events such as the Make A Wish Foundation and I believe that is why he is not that popular as a singer,because he is more concerned with helping others than boosting his career ,which I think shows how great of a person he truly is,and for all of those who have not heard his music or visited his website I would greatly recommend it,because I think everyone should see how much he is doing to help charities all around and I believe that people should take notice of this fine young man,and realize how much of a difference he is trying to make,and maybe it will help set an example for other people,and then more people will chip in when they can,and help others who need it,I sincerely hope that the committee in charge of planning the Relay For Life asks Kevin Sharp to come back,because I think his appearance there and all his efforts helped raise a lot of money and draw a big crowd to help support this worthy cause,I will appreciate all who respond to this discussion,and with all my discussions,I ask that you take this seriously,because to me this is a very serious matter,and I promise that I will comment to all responses I get,depending on how long and how much quality is put in to them,have a great day.
