This is what I dont understand about mylot. Ok so everyone is on here to earn money and get paid right? So why is it when someone is ew o here no one wants to respond to there discussions and help them out? just read a discussion by another mylotter on here whom said he will not respond to a newbies discuaaion or a discussion where the person who starte it posted under 100 posts. My thing is wasnt you new on here once? Didnt someone help you on here? I mean come on now obviously if you have over 100 posts then you have been on here for a while and know mylot pretty well and can help a newbie. I just dont get it. I mean discussions are suppost to help raise your earnings right? well whats the point of starting one if no one will respond?

well i have not had much luck on people responding much to my discussions but even so i donĀ“t want to give up so early in the game. Well when i go around responding discussions i dont even look at their numbers i feel as though that is a discrimination of some sort. Well hope everyone will get over that.

I wouldnt worry to much about it because I have some discussions on here that have only one or two responses on it. Since I have been on here I have not had any of my discussions deleted nor any of my posts. As long as they are quility discussions and responses they wont get deleted. Me I try to help out anyone I can new or not. It just depends on the people on here. Good luck on mylotting.

Don't worry if your discussion does not have a lot of response. You only need on response to get paid by mylot. What matters is the quality of post that you have. Meaning you have to write at least 3 to 5 sentenses, with no abbreviations, must have correct grammar. That's what counts, your earnings depends on the quality of post you have and not on the number of response you get. I remember getting .10 cents for writing one lengthy topic with only 3 respondents and get .01 cents for a very short question and answer type of post with 20 respondents.

One of my first stops here is to the discussions with no responses because I feel that if they are good discussions, they deserve to have responses. I have 2 still with no responses and I don't understand it myself. But that is okay. One thing for sure about what I respond to and don't respond to is this...the grammar must be at least readable...and the topic has to be something with some meat to it. There are a lot of discussions here that are just a bunch of gibberish and I can't even understand what their topic is. Others that, along with the jibberish, the grammar is so bad I just can't even read it and make sense of it. Other topics are so obviously posted just to try to make a posting with no real thought to the topic at all. I don't respond to any of these mentioned. I feel that if you want to start a discussion you need to be coherent and be able to get your point across. I feel that if you think your writing is worth being paid for, it better be more than jibberish. But, I can guarantee you that when I come to mylot, I check out those with no response and when I find one I like the topic and the writing, I will respond. Yes, for me grammar means a lot. Not butchering the language means a lot. Even if you are new to English, you can do better than a lot of the stuff on here is at times. Actually I have spent most of my life living around a community of people learning English as a second language, so I can tell when a discussion is of that nature, and I will attempt to try to understand the meaning. But there are many on here that just show laziness and a lack of respect for the language and are impossible to read.

dont fret. i know that i respond to dicussions that are worth my time. all u gotta do is get a real eye catcher for a topic and run from there. i wouldnt worry about those people who only respond to people who a have 100 or more posts. I think alot of it is also the fact that new people are well new and some times their posts are deleted because they are not mylot material. and if you dont know yet, you can have discussions deleted as well as posts. so those who are here to make extra cash, dont want their posts to be deleted and loose out on the money that they could have made if they took the time to post if it gets deleted. hang in there. things will pick up for u. and who knows u might find something in the next few hours to post or start and you will have more responces than u know what to do with.

When i started here i begun with posting. few people responded my post. I'm okey with that i don't mind. I am much more involved with post that no responses made. I choose them because I know how hard it is to start a post and no one care to response. By the way i rated you. Please don't be dis-appointed, you will gain lots of friends soon.

Hey tigger, Don't worry about others, worry about yourself first. Because when a newbie starts a discussion, the system automatically credit 1 cent into his/her account. So, even though others may not help this newbie in responding, this newbie is able to continue to post discussion until someone responds to it. Such as when I was a newbie, I accumulate the earnings by posting numerous discussions in mylot.com and response to discussions and comments. Therefore, what I can say is you have a heart of gold such that you are willing to help newbies but there are other people who doesn't. Look on the bright side, who knows the newbie is able to earn more than anyone else in few days. Am I right?

I respond to discussions that catch my interest and I try to respond to discussions that my friends have started. I don't care if the person only has one post, if it is interesting I am going to post. I have to agree with you about the person that won't help out. They were new here once also and it isn't right to single out the newbies. Just because a person is new to the site doesn't mean they won't have interesting discussions and ideas. They need to be given a chance just like the rest of us.

I'm with you on this one. I remember when I first arrived here and read that some folks would not respond to anyone with less than 100 posts. Some even said they would respond to those with less than 500. And there were those who would not accept friendship from anyone with less than 500 posts. Personally, I think that if a topic is interesting, it doesn't matter who posted it.

I think a lot of people are just here to chat and meet new people. I'm afraid I don't join in the discussions where people are talking about making money, because it doesn't interest me - but I do try to answer a new user every day, and also a discussion which has no responses. If you make your topic sound interesting, people will respond - but if it just mentions making money, you might not get much response because there are hundreds and hundreds of discussions where people are discussing money and links to make money, etc. Good luck!

Hey tigger, Welcome to mylot! Please excuse whoever said that! We don't all feel that way!As you can see I'm responding. Only 4 weeks ago I was a newbie so I know how you feel. The myloters made me feel so welcome! I made a lot of great friends and now I just can't get enough of them. It's no longer just about the money, yes I love that part too, but I just love being here with my friends and participating in the discussions. Sometimes the are serious and I learn things, sometimes they are so funny, some are sad, but all are great! Don't let one person bring you down. There is so much to mylot! Just keep posting and you will see!

i think no matter how many posts they have 10 or 100 or 1000.. question is the most important, most of us are here to earn extra money. so we should reply questions as much as we can.. what for only answer the questions who have more than 100 posts.. good luck.. i think you'll be able to have more than 100 posts soon.. what you said before is right.. still i have no 100 posts.. people who responded for my posts were very few..

Don't worry too much on this, look at me for an example. I have posted in many threads on forums before I came to mylot. As long as it's a valid question, many person will answer your question. Your discussion can be anything to be honest, follow up your pace when posting. It will soon help your to achieve your goal of getting more posts and hopefully you can see money that will slowly roll in.

you cannot control other people and make them respond to your discussions. you are like a sales person here with your discussions to sell and attract people. if your topic is attractive and good enough you will automatically get enough responses. try responding to otheres and make them your friends. ask them to respond to yours and do the same with them, you will see the difference soon. friends will help friends. give and take policy works.

no one will respond if you start boring discussions like this. nor will anyone respond if you go around accusing people....if you start topics that might be of interest to other people, you will get a lot of responses remember that people don't see who has started the discussion. they don't see how many posts the person has. they just see the title. if they like it, they respons...if they don't..well, they would just move on to other topics wouldn't they?

I don't see where this discussion is boring. It was a legitimate discussion and deserves to be answered.
