Lost your suitecase?

Have you ever taken a plane somewhere and when you got to your destination your suitcase never showed up? I personally have never had this happen to me but I would be so upset if it did. Especially if I was going somewhere for like a week and they didn't know when my suitcase would get to me. Thankfully I haven't had this bad luck happen to me yet.

That does not happen to me in any of my previous travels, however, my sister did experience that. She flew in to Canada from US and her suitcase didn't show up. All her things and clothes were there, she would attend a wedding and she bought some clothes and things to use. Her suitcase arrived after 5 days. She phoned her travel agent and she asked for some monetary charges from the due to the inconvenience she experienced. It's good that she was paid a little amount. So, I told her to always pack some clothes and necessary things and have them carry with her in the flight. I always do have spare clothes and things in my hand-carry luggage, which I can use, just in case my check-in luggage was delayed or didn't show up.

I agree you always want to have some "back up" clothes and make-up in a carry-on in the event that your luggage doesn't show up! Great idea!

I haven't gone through this either. However do remember one occassion when The baggage came out extremely late and mine came out somewhat the last. I started preparing myself for the eventuality that it may be lost. Get's one into a state of confusion and panic.
