Does Computer work have the effect of Increasing Blood Pressure ?

During the day, I have normally a blood pressure of approx . 120/80. But after 2 or more hours at the computer it is between 140- 150.Anybody experienced something like that ?

Yeah, inactivity has a tendency to compromise our normal circulation, that is why we are often encourage to do exercise other than staying sedentary-so while you sit on your computer, find sometime to play and exercise

I don't think there's a direct connection. But it is harmful to work on computers for long hours.

It's from sitting for long periods of time and not moving around. Also from probably reading things that you don't agree with or you get upset over something that someone has written. But I think it's mostly from just sitting and not moving around. Make sure you drink lots of water!!

my father and his friend are expericing the same symptom when he is typing on the computer. He types for hours on the computer, he only types, no web-searching. He does have poor circulation, so it may have to do with sitting for more than an hour.
