It's quite common for extended family members in some rural areas, like me, when i was a kid and before i entered the nursery school, i lived with my granparents, that's to say, we had 6 family members in my family. furthurmore, my three uncles' families were living in the same town, you know, that's in fact a small village with a polulation of less than 500 people.

Yes, it was very common in our old neighbourhood. We lived in this place for 18 years. It was my grandpa's place. Half of my grandpa's children (including my father) lived there, my aunt who was single at the time, my own family, and my uncle's family. The houses were all connected. My grandpa found a way to extend the house to accommodate new grandchildren that time.
Most of our neighbours lived that way too, with extended family. I reckon about 20%. It's in the Philippine culture I guess. But since I moved out to look for work in another city, I got to live on my own. Peaceful.
