Fansubbing

Have you ever tried fansubbing? What position(s) have you tried before? I've tried subbing but only with my friends. We don't have a proper translator though, and somewhere along the way, we give up or end up too lazy, so we've only released 1 episode in the entire lifetime of our group. Haha.

i tried with card captor sakura movie I since i downloaded a raw movie but in the middle of it, i became lazy.. so i watched the movie without a subtitle so i didn't really understand some of the words...hahaha.. it's really hard and so tiring.. but i still wish i can really sub a whole anime series..

I always figured all the work that went into it would be too much for me. Every time I see one of those credits pages on a fansub saying who did what, I think, "Wow, these people really must take up a lot of their time and energy subbing this for me!" So I send a lot of thank you notes and fan email to subbers, but I've never tried it myself. :p
