It has been proven that switching to whiteboards can give relief to children and adult who are asmatic or have trouble breathing. Because there are no small particals getting into the air when using a whiteboard this would solve a lot of the trouble. Whiteboards are more expensive and whiteboard markers are surely more expensive then chalk. It does solve a lot of health issues so I personally think it's worth the while to invest in whiteboards in schools. After all, we need to look out for out students health, right? Your opinion on this?

I agree. As a matter of fact there was a time not to long ago when a smoking room was allowed in school but this make asthmatic patients deal with a lot of discomfort. Now the smoking rooms are gone but blackboards are still used because of financial issues. I do see progress so I only can hope this trend lasts and more and more whiteboards will take place in schools. Thanks for adding to the discussion, it's very much appreciated .
