I've been a member of MySearchFunds (or whatever it's called now) and finally reached payout, but haven't received my earnings yet. I think I'm supposed to get it in August, but we'll see. If you're a member, have you been paid yet?
I just signed up with a different search tool called SCOUR that pays in points that you redeem for gift cards (I guess much the same as MyPoints that a lot of us are familiar with). I was hesitant about downloading the toolbar as the last one I did made my computer go funky, but with this one you don't have to download the toolbar if you don't want to - you can search right from the site.
I've done several searches this morning and I'm more than satisfied with the results. You get a point if you search, then more points if you rate them with a + or - and more still if you leave a comment.

I've joined this one too,using a toolbar to search online and get paid for each search..I haven't been checking my account regularly enough to see how I'm doing,though! I think I'd like to have some kind of visible counter or indicator on the toolbar to let me know how I'm doing!

How long did it take you to get your payment?
I don't know if anyone has been paid by scour yet. It may be too new.
I'm hopeful, though.

when did you become the member of mysearchfunds i habe been their member since the past couple of months and i have earned like 2 euros so iam still a novice but soon i will earn my payout

I joined several months ago, but stopped using it after I reached my payout amount.
Now I'm going to use this new one that I've listed on my profile.

I joined mysearchfunds in may and I'm about 3.50 short of making the payout for the end of the month. My understanding of it is they pay us 45 days AFTER the end of the month so if i manage to make the 3.50 in the next 2 or 3 days I still wouldnt get paid out until the middle of september.
Its alot of searches to make to get to the payout amount. I'll be checking out scour!

I think that's right. I believe I made payout minimum in June, so I think I should get my payment next month if I read that right.

Two minds think alike. lol I just joined Scour the other day and find that I really enjoy surfing with them. There is somethig about giving your opinions and views on things that I like. Guess that's why I'm here at MyLot. 
The points seem to accumulate pretty fast. I just have the site in one of my tabs on my browser and if I think of something to look up I use it. I hope it pays out when the time comes. I think I'm going to really enjoy using it!

I think I'm going to like this better than some of the others because you don't have to download anything. I downloaded the myLot toolbar a while back and it kept screwing everything up, so I uninstalled it.
I like being able to use the site to search instead. So far I like it just fine.

Hi, I'm a member of My Search Funds too and I haven't reached my payout yet, I have some referrals under me so I am earning more now. Maybe I will reach my payout next month. I know that some people have been paid already. The person who referred me got his payment of 74 UK pounds. I hope you get your payment soon. I would love to hear it when you do. Thanks.

I know several people that are waiting on their payment too, no one that has actually received it yet.
You can bet when I get mine I will be shouting it from the rafters and posting it here on myLot.
In the meantime, I'm going to search with this new place and get points until I know more about the other.

Well I don't belong to either but both sites sound interesting and I will be checking them out as I am always looking for ways to earn more online. I am not to happy with the 45 day wait period I read about for payout on mysearchfunds but if they pay then maybe it will be worth the wait. Hopefully more will come and share more on all this.
Thanks for sharing about these sites, I will post my thoughts after I review them both.

I've got mysearchfunds in my blog somewhere if you want to look at it again. The link for the new one is right on my profile.
I really like that format better as you don't have to download anything and screw up your computer. So far the searches I've done have given me exactly what I needed.

I use MySearchFunds or Homepages Friends, and am not ready for cashout yet. I will check out Scour but since I live in Canada, do not know if the gift cards will work in Canada. If it does, I might join. I do not like to use search engine tool boxes. I am happy with the ones I got and do not want another, and I do not like complicated. I just want to search and find out what I am looking for, not interested in commenting what i found, etc.

I honestly don't know if it would work in Canada, but I would guess that the gift cards would work for purchases online too.
No, I didn't want another toolbar and this is very easy to use. I've done several searches today and they brought me very useful information that I hadn't seen before. I'm more than satisfied.

I took a peek but I'm not interested in downloading their toolbar. Still a little leary.
I prefer to use swagbucks. You get get awarded bucks during various searches which you can turn into gift cards. I'm just hanging on to them for Xmas. I am in between a $5 and $10 gift card.

Kimbers you didn't read it all the way. You don't have to download the tool bar. I didn't, and I'm still searching and earning points. It's great!

About my search fund :
they make a tight and a rough audit to ur searches so getting paid aint that easy there , as i heard from people registered in that site

Yes, I understand that you have to wait 45 days after the month following the month you make payout. We'll see. Should be next month for me, I believe.
I do like this other format better. No toolbar to download and install.

I don't know if mysearchfunds is a scam or not. I was able to reach payout, and if I calculated correctly, I should receive a check next month. If you go to the main site, there are msgs there that tell you what payments they are working on. I think right now they are working on people that made payout the first week of June, but I'm not positive.
Since I've already earned there and it will take a while to build up again for another payout, I'm switching to using this new one, called scour. The link is on my profile if you want to have a look. You can download the toolbar if you want, but don't have to. I opted not to, and the searches are just fine.

I am also a member of MySearchFunds. They are now called Homepages Friends. But I just started using it a month ago so I still didn't reach payout. Are we allowed to do more than 50 searches? 
My maximum number of search so far is 30 searches. Well, I heard that some of the members here are also members of it and they already received a payout so I am looking forward that you will also receive yours. About SCOUR, I will check it out through your profile. Cheers!

I sure hope I get my earnings next month, it sure will come in handy. When the conversion is done from pounds to $$$, it should be around $40.
I do like scour better already, though.
