Anyone else watch Private Practice?

Just wondering if anyone else has watched Private Practice. If so, you probably know that last season was pretty brief because of the strike. But it is coming back this Fall! I am looking forward to it very much, between this show and Grey's Anatomy my Wednesday and Thursday nights are great! 
I don't have a lot to say about the show, because it's been so long since I've seen the episodes. But I really do like the fact that there are several different specialties of medicine on the show. I really like the surgery aspect of Grey's, it is very exciting.. but I like Private practice in a different way, it seems a bit more "upscale" but at the same time still humorous!
I definitely would recommend any Grey's Anatomy fans watch this show at least once, especially if you liked Addison, because she is basically the main character in Private Practice!
Oh yea! Season One is being released on dvd in September I believe! I may wait to see if they release it on i-tunes, but I just thought I'd say that in case anyone is interested, it can be pre-ordered on amazon.com!

I loved Private Practice! I wasn't sure if I was going to like it because sometimes spinoffs don't go as well. Plus I didn't really like Addison on Grey's anatomy. (Which I love) But towards the end of Greys you start to see a softer side of her. On Private Practice I really liked her. I think the show was funny. I hope that it continues to do well. Ofcourse I thought Joey was funny too and they cancelled it.

Oh yea! Dell and Pete are so funny! hehe And Tim Daly is cool, I love the show Wings, actually, I never watched it till it came on Nick at Nite, and now it's one of my favorite older show! I definitely think him and Addison should get together! I definitely think that they would be good together and help them both with their relationship issues, him being committment phobic and obviously Addison with her affair and marriage falling apart. Only time will tell!

I like Private Practice both for it's similarities to and differences from Grey's Anatomy. I think it works because we already had time to love Addison on Grey's before she left and joined the new practice. It is like part of the same show just on a different night because we met her new partners when she was still on Grey's and went to visit her friend.
I can't wait for ALL my shows to return this fall!

Same here! I also like it for being both similar and different. I agree, with Addison it definitely took me a while to appreciate her personality and character, I do miss her being on Grey's--because she added a lot of humorous dialogue and situations. Exactly! I love having a show on Wednesday and Thursday, and the fact that they feel like practically an extension of each other it's even better! I can't wait for Fall either! I am going out of my mind waiting! LOL Luckily since I can back to mylot I've been more distracted so I haven't been thinking so much about missing my shows! That being said, it's just about 59 days till Grey's comes back! And I don't know about Private Practice, but if it premiers the night before Grey's then 58 days for that!

I watched this, yes! I didn't watch all of the episodes and I know the strike got in the way too, but I had been watching it a lot the first month or two. I'm looking forward to it coming back, as well as the last season of ER, Grey's Anatomy, Survivor, and American Idol lol.
I like Addison, I didn't like her initially on Grey's but she shines on Private Practice.

I found Private Practice reruns on a website. I had not originally watched the first season. However, I loved the show. Private Practice does seem a bit more upscale. It actually seems a little more realistic. Addison is hilarious, and I think the producers did a great job with casting. Looking forward to next season!

i love her character but i hate spin off shows so that is why i havent seen it yet.. i do plan on seeing it eventually though.. just saw the episode of greys that kind of set it up and it was ok.. so i will check it out sometime lol

I recently started watching the episodes online. it's a really good show & i'm excited to see the new season comin on in Oct. I really like all the ppl on the show they seem 2 fit well 2gether. I must say if i were addison i'd deff go 4 Pete LOL!!
