Got hit with the login page

I was just commenting on a discussion and hit the submit button. Up popped the login page, the first time this has ever happened to me. I had heard others talk about it happening to them since the last improvements. I also noticed that the code for the emoticons wasn't beside my post. This is the first time I have had to login since I came to the Mylot site the first time and signed up. I have Firefox set to remember me and it,whether I go there by typing in mylot.com or hit a link in my emailer to go to a specific discussion or comment, I am logged in. So I was sort of shocked to see this page pop up.

It happened to me several times since myLot changed its setting. I don't know what's the problem, but it's a little bit frustrating that what we had type-written in the discussion / respond page was put in vain.

Joyce, the two times I've had to login the past few minutes, it has taken me back to the page I was working on, and the comments were still there. So I have no idea what is going on here. But you are right; it is very frustrating.

This morning I was looking at an emailed discussion and was looking for the rating sign and couldn't find it. I had to sign in. I have had to sign in when first going to myLot since the did the upgrade. Before the upgrade I never had to sign in. Firefox does keep my id and pass word for myLot so I don't have to keep typing that. All I have to do is hit sign in.

If you keep having to sign in on one session I suggest that next time check the square that asks remember me. That works for me.

For me, it happened much more before the new upgrades. Not sure why!

It's been happening to me a lot! I've answered several discussions, only to hit the submit button and find myself on the login page. Naturally, I haven't received credit for the submissions either. I really hope that my lot works out the kinks quickly and resolves this issue so that my typing will not be in vain! Have a great day!

It did take me back to my comment when I finally got logged back in. I was prepared to get upset but then it popped back up. I was very surprised by that, too. Sorry you weren't given credit for your discussion. That does hurt! Sidenote --- I just now hit the submit button, only to be sent back to the Login page. Something is definitely wrong here today!! Hope someone gets it fixed soon!

Weird. I have only ever had to log in once, and I think it was because I cleared my temporary internet files, which clears all my saved passwords so I have to re-login to any site that remembers me. It can be such a pain.

No, I haven't had to login at all, but my first visit to Mylot is usually through e-mail... so maybe that has something to do with it.

Katsmeow, are you not having to sign in at all on Mylot since the upgrade? It started with me even online yesterday. And this morning, I had to sign in to start reading. The sign in page did come up with my password and everything remembered, though.

Yes, it has happened to me, too. Every time, I would log in, and it would take me back to the log in page. This is my first time on here in days because of this.
