Homeless Kitties?

I surf a lot of local classified sites and it is with shock and sadness that I see the plentitude of give away pets, particularly cats. Not being able to adopt them all myself, I am left to wonder just what happens to all of these poor, unwanted little animals. It seems so inhumane and maybe I am so appalled as a devout pet lover, I am not sure. Any thoughts?

I'm afraid most of these kittens will come to a bad end. Either the people will dump them or bring them to a shelter that has no choice but to put them down. No one should offer free kittens. Sometimes these poor little things are used as snake food or dog baiting.
The real solution is to have all pets spayed or neutered. It is healthier for the pet and better for everyone else. There are plenty of cats that need homes. I'm appalled, too.

I see alot of kittens for giveaway too in the papers and newspapers, etc.I adopted two off of my sister and she is going to tyr to find homes for the other kitties. She kept 2 of the first litter her cat had as she couldnt find homes for them and she didnt want to take them to the shelter.I hope she finds homes for other kittens as she has 4 main cats as it is(the cat the had the kitties, the 2 from the previous litter and her boyfriends siamese cat (which is a girl)so she doesnt need anymore as I dont know how she affords to feed them and get at litter, etc. She also has a little girl so it has to be hard.If she just has the four it wouldnt probably be so bad.I told her she needs to get the girl cats fixed as I dont think her cat should have anymore as it can be hard on them after so many.I feel sorry that all them kittens might not possibly be able to find homes and some probably either end up in animals shelters,Some people might keep most of them,or gosh knows what else.Hopefully owners can spay or nueter their cats and it could cut down on the cat population and so many being killed in animals shelters.I cant adopt them all as I can only afford so many.I would like too but I think 3 is enough for me.:).I will be getting another when we get our house, hopefully soon, and it will be back and white just like my previous kitten that passed away about 2 weeks ago.
