There is a program on American Cable television called "Eureka!" It's about a "normal" sheriff and his daughter in a city of Geniuses. I missed the first season, but a lady I worked with (a Buddhist nun) absolutely loved it. I watched a few episodes from the second season this year, but life got in my way a lot and prevented me from seeing them all (same with the new "Dr. Who").
Today on the SciFi channel (American cable) they are having a marathon of all of the first season. I love it!
Anyone else here a fan?

There have actually now been 6 Doctors. I loved Tom Baker the Best, but the new one is quite good, also.

You're very welcome. I miss the nighttime showings regularly, but with the marathon, here is the whole first season.

Can you please tell me a bit more about the show? Is it more o a story, as your paragraph above suggests, or do they use a lot of special effects? You know I usually hate the sci-i channel because of those efects, but if it's more of a story as your books are, then I'm sure I'd enjoy it too. Do you think hey will eer put it out on DVD?

It's more of a continuing story. There's a lot of humor inserted. Everyone in the town is a genius, but the sheriff is a normal person.
