The world today is not so good, economies are down, recession is felt even in the 1st world countries, war is going on, companies are folding, prices of commodities are continuously going up, crimes are being committed everywhere, etc. Don't you wish you could turn back time to a particular era or period when things are so simple. We all have attended history classes when we went to school where our professors discussed the different civilizations and eras. Would you like to relive some of it, say go back to the time of the stalin, hitler, washington, etc. In my case I don't want to go that far back. I could only hope to go back to the time when in our country (Philippines) still had a Peso to US currency exchange of 2:1 so that the our purchasing power is good and we don't have to go abroad to earn more. Just Sharing, SFC

I'd love to go back in time and be under the Marcos rule (before it got too bitter) but the one moment (actually there are lots) that I want to go back on time would be every time that I go hurt because it would remind me of how weak I was and how strong I am now.

I've always been thinking on such questions, and i must say my reason for going back in time didn't seem so practical :) I would like to visit many eras, but not for a long time, just to take a glimpse of them, and feel how my worldview is totally changing. i think that every period in history had some drawbacks and bloomings, as well as the time we live in now. it just wouldn't be possible for me to go back in time forever, already knowing how it is to live in the 21st century. My greatest wish for now would be to go back to the beginning of the 20th cen. I admire this period when modern art started to develop, and humanity began to invent much advanced technology. I would also like to take a look at the time when european countries began to colonize the unknown lands. Travelers had many parts of the world to be discovered yet, and the unknown is what inspired them. Now there's no new land to make discoveries for,but we are lucky to able to travel more :)

Hi Muelitz, I like to go back to the early 60s when life was carefree and it was safe to go out and leave your front doors open and your neighbours can just pop their heads round to see if you were in and hust borrow sugar and life was happy. Tamara
