we chinese goveronment and we people spare no effort to prepare for this worldwide event and i can proudly say we are well-prepared,since the quality of air is more fresh than the same period of time years ago,we also take measures to reduce public and private traffics in order to provide athlets and friends from other countries with a smooth transportation system.hotes are also well-trained to service people all over the world,i think we'll present an excellent event. god bless.

The Olympics have always been great TV. This year, however, I'm afraid there's too much interference by politics. I hope we'll see each countries best athletes, but it's certainly not a given. I'm a bit confused, too, about dealing with China when their record in human rights is terrible. I try not to allow that to color my reaction to the Olympics being close. It's all so beautiful. I love to see the extent to which the competitors push themselves, and I can't help wishing the American athletes will get all the gold!

If American gets all the medals, what will remain for the host? JOKE! I'm looking forward to the 100 and 200 Meters final.

They'll have all the trash to remember the crowds by! Seriously, though, I'm concerned about the athletes. Tonight's news ran a story about the levels of air pollution in Beijing being toxic. The athletes who went there early are wearing masks, but that's not going to work in the actual Olympics. Breathing is important! Each sport has its own breathing suggestions for ultimate performance. If breathing is a problem of that magnitude there, athletes are risking too much to go there.

I think we should expect Chinese. Oh, sorry, off-topic. Heehee. I think the Chinese people are doing everything they can to take care of this pollution. Since it is an honour to host the Olympics, they are doing their best, even though many tragedies happened there this year. Well, I'm expecting a good show of athleticism. I can't wait for the Olympics. I don't look like it, but I really love games that are featured in the Olympics.
