Is It Possible to Love More than One Person?

Is it possible to love more than one person at the same time? Has anybody have this experience before?
For me, I am a one man's girl, meaning to say I can't do it. When I love one person, I give my entire heart to him and I find myself shutting other guys out and purely treat them as just friends.
However, I have a couple of friends who have this ability to love more than one guy each time. And this usually leads to them having more than one boyfriend, or having one boyfriend yet have a fling outside of the relationship. I could never understand them, but I don't judge them and respect them. Afterall, it is their choice in what they want to do in their lives. Lol.
How about you? What's your experience in this? Have any one of you love more than one person at any one point of time? How was this experience for you? What happened in the end?

It could be love, it could be lust, it could even be puppy love. Who knows? Lol, maintaining more than one relationship is always going to head for disaster. I had seen it for myself in close friends where friendships are torn apart, lovers became enemies, flings play around with the girls and so on and forth.
Sigh~

Certainly it is possible but I am sure love does not work this way for everybody. You could be in love with more than one person and be faithful or, at the very least honest, these situations can be handled with maturity. You are right that it all comes down to choices and what we want to do in our own lives. Well, there are some laws about all of this kind of stuff that offer some good guidelines. :)

Thanks for your response =)
From everyone's response, I guess it's possible. Lol, I had been there in my younger days, however, from what I can understand now, that was more of a 'puppy' love than a real love. I agree with you that there are those who are not faithful to their partners but at least they are honest with their spouse on what they are doing outside. In the end, it boils down to what one wants in a relationship.
Haha, that's a good one, laws offering some good guidelines. Just imagining the whole world following the law where love is concern just make me laugh out loud ( no offence intended - I just thought that it makes a funny picture). Thanks! You just made my day!=oD

When we were in high school, how many of us are mature enough to know what love is. Most of the times, it was just an experiment to see which guy suits us best and which type of guys we like the best. So~ I could totally understand where you are coming from. When I was in my teens too, I like many guys and from what my teacher told me, it is something more like 'puppy' love or influation.
