Anyone else hate the dentist?

I just had to go to the dentist recently for a root canal and cap. I hate going to the dentist. There is nothing gentle about them when they scrape and beat on your teeth. And I hate when I leave beacuase they have no concern for your lips either. Mine are always chapped and cracked after I leave.

I know what you mean the dentists seem to have no concern for the patients lips or anything else other than the teeth,and I hate when they scrape my teeth because it feels weird and it makes a sound like fingernails on a chalkboard that just makes my teeth hurt more,I always hated going to the dentist when I was kid but I was always forced to go by my mom.

I wonder how the dentists like getting their teeth scraped because even dentists have to go to the dentist I bet to keep their teeth healthy,have a great day,good luck in your life,and Happy Posting my friend.

I used to be absolutely terrified of the dentist then I found one that was so gentle in the area of giving the injections, I don't fear it anymore, i think it is just a matter of finding someone you have faith in and also there is a lot more modern ways the dentists can go now...

True. That is a great thought...to find someone who has the modern technology and that you have faith in. I tried one a few years ago that had all the high tech stuff , gave neck massages, played classical music...you know really making it look like she knew what she was doing. Turns out she didn't and that is why she needed that stuff. Several people that I know quit going to here because she was messing up their teeth instead of fixing them.
