An Earthquake on my Birthday?

I searched for an earthquake that happened just a day that I was born. And this is what I found.
"At 4:19 AM (Philippine time) on August 02, 1968 an earthquake with an intensity of VIII in the Rossi-Forel Intensity Scale rocked the town of Casiguran, Aurora Province. This was considered the most severe and destructive earthquake experienced in the Philippines during the last 20 years. Two hundred seventy (270) persons were killed and 261 were injured as a result of the earthquake. A six-storey building in Binondo, (Ruby Tower) Manila collapsed instantly during the quake while several major buildings near Binondo and Escolta area in Manila sustained varying levels of structural damages. The cost of property damage was several million dollars. Extensive landslides and large fissures were observed in the mountainous part of the epicentral area. Tsunami was also observed and recorded as far as observation in tide gauge station in Japan."
How about you, do you know any disasters, naturally calamities that happened on your birth date? What is it that when you are celebrating your birthday, you will be reminded of that incident or anything that you will say: "Oh, it's our birthday now?"

Hi Neil,
You could say you came into this world with a bang he he. I was born in August 16 and was peaceful but the doctors thought I was not going to live as I was very small wieghing in at only one pound 1lb and there was lot of sadness around, but here I am so it all went well in the end for my parents.

wow, you were really that tiny when you were born? doctors and anybody may truly say that a one pound baby will have a hard time to grow and might as well fail. but you did it my friend. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

Hi Neil,
Yes it was true eveyone was very upset at the time so now in my adult life I am only 4ft 6inches tall while my family are average height and they call me shorty.

None that I could think of my best. I hope there will be no earthquake on your birthday days from now. LOL. But there's this incident but it happened years ago. I think I was 14 then. We had our summer vacation at Baguio and at the same time celebrate my birthday with the whole family. Then it happened. As we were eating dinner the earth shook. LOL. And remember, it was on the same date of my birthday that President Erap was arrested in his home for slander. LOL.

Oh maybe your birth caused the earthquake, maybe your mother screamed so loud it shook the earth...I have never even thought about looking for that sort of thing....

that sounds funny my friend. and i never thought that mom may sounded so loud that he made the earth move when i was born.

During the Earthquake that was happened 20 years ago and that was a day before of your birth date so I guess there is no relevance at all because what I knew accidents happened all the time although it is a human error or by nature so I think there is nothing for you to worry about this August 2 things and I even heard it that a very huge Earthquake will hit on our Country last July 19 with someone told with ESP power but nothing happened Thanks to God just believe that everything would happened to us is permitted by God's Will Power and Wisdom.......
