question about liberty reserve

ok i just got something on the internet and the only way i am going to be paid is if it is by liberty reserve and i want to be paid, i just don't know that much about liberty reserve so i was hoping that someone could help me in this department, so i was just wondering is liberty reserve worth less because i was told by someone that they would buy my liberty reserve which was a dollar for fifty cents(like they would give me 50 cents paypal for 1.00 liberty reserve)i was just wondering if this sounded right to anyone...like i said i don't really know a lot about this so i was just hoping that someone could help me with this...thanks for taking the time to read my discussion and i hope that you all have a great day!
