OPEN FORUM: Pinoy Idol

B-O-R-I-N-G. Everything was a cheap copy. From the set design to the personality of the judges. And even the comments. Heck. I know its a franchise but it doesn't mean that you won't be putting any filipino touch to it. The contestants did not even stand out well. Such a waste of money.

Well, i have never watched an episode of Pinoy Idol... it was a major turn off when channel 7 took it away from channel 5... and they did not even give a single recognition to those who participated and even won the Philippine Idol... they acted as if it never existed... aside for that... when i saw a commercial where Wyngard was wearing black and acting as if he is the carbon copy of Simon Cowell... i decided never to watch the show...

Hay naku! It's a show I can do without, thank you. Before, I felt there was something lacking in the original PHILIPPINE IDOL. But when I caught parts of Pinoy Idol, I've learned to appreciate everything about the first search. Even their most mediocre performers were better than this batch. And the judges are complaining that the ones being voted to stay on are ho-hum guys and girls. Why did they choose them in the first place. And there are so many other more capable hosts that Raymond Gutierrez...

I also like ram cahvez and jayann for the girls..they two have the best voice quality and attitude that needs in a performer.

I am NOT A FAN also... I am leaning more towards PDA of channel 2! I am disappointed with the chosen judges and really uncomparable to those judges in PDA! I prefer the 1st Philippine Idol in ABC 5 though... because the judges were, RYAN C. FRANCIS M. and PILITA C. If ever I am watching the Pinoy Idol, I do not like their sound system also. But I like KID to win, I just want him to win thats all

Boring. They are like, putting other things like jamming session and stuff, but in reality I think they are just copying the concept of PDA that teaches it's students. I love PDA more than Pinoy Idol, and Gala performance of PDA, especially in the trio is a bang! And I'm not really a fan of channel 7, because I think that the quality of their shows decreased, and it's only the never ending media hype that brings them the much seeked ratings. I like American Idol more. But then, we're here so PDA rocks for me.

I wanted to hurl something at the TV last night as I caught the final performance night. But then it will not be fair to the TV. That was the finals? (gasp!) I mean that was all they could give on the night they were supposed to give their all to earn the right of being proclaimed Pinoy Idol? Yuuuccckkk! I am most certainly overjoyed they refused to associate Philippine Idol with this junk of a show. Even the worst contestants of the original Idol was never as bad as the finalists. I sincerely miss Mau Marcelo and she should be proud of herself because she truly is the FIRST Philippine Idol.

Hi jeiyah_12. I'm so sorry but I hate to watch Pinoy Idol. You know why, I observed that they are being O.A. as in Over Acting. They are imitating those American Idols, and which they only making the show disastrous! Imagine...they are all trying hard to sing. I prefer to watch PDA as in Pinoy dream Academy because it shows that those scholars had their own originality and talent. So far, I am not interested who will be won on that show (Pinoy Idol), I still love Mau Marcelo the original first Pinoy Idol! Thanks for the post!Happy myLot! And aim high!

its boring. Whoever wins the show would not be a good representative of the country to.. uhm let's say Asian Idol again perhaps? I don't know where they got the talents of the show. Well, I'm not a fan of it to sum it up. xD But goodluck to whoever wins it. Hehe.

Well I am not a big fan either but I do not have a choice for I only have four channel here in Kuwait and i could watched it often "Pinoy Idol" in the GMA Pinoy Tv and just this week I've seen that it is only three of the contestant has been left like Jay-Ann, Ram and this other lady (I forgot her name) but at least I have something to watched here on not to missed a lot of what we have in our Country and I have been as I remember I like this lady her name is "Penelope" but sad to say she is out already......
