Do you still use a band aid or plaster when you're wounded?

As a kid i used to use band-aids when i get wounded 'cause that's what my parents advised me to do but later when i grew older. It came to me that my wound won't dry up and heal easily when i use it so i don't use them anymore. How about you?

It depends on the injury. We didn't get a plaster for small injuries when I was young, so I'm not inclined to put one on every paper cut as an adult. For deeper cuts and scrapes, I still put on a plaster to prevent the wound from getting knocked open or dirty. An infected cut is too unpleasant, so I use the bandages when they're needed.

I still use band-aids to prevent dirt from infecting the wound. I remove them at night when I go to bed for the air to help it heal. If it's needed I reaply one the next day to prevent any problems.

Yes, if I have one, I use it to keep the cut clean while it heals! My children insist on having one too, as it makes them feel better! It works like magic.
