It stands for laughing out loud. Although people use it to replace "haha" sometimes. It's funny that you don't know this but I understand if you're a little old. It's a slang word used among teenagers nowadays. Hope this helps.

It simply means laughing aloud. But just remember to choose a right place to laugh aloud,or you would disturb others..haha.. Have a nice day!
