To me the idea that a chamelion can easily blend its colour with its surrounding as a secuirty measure is perhaps the biggest wonderof nature to me-what do you say?

The most spectacular thing about nature is that we had nothing to do with it initially. It was created before man. I also think that God (as I call him) made sure that everything had a purpose or an outcome. Everything has a job. FOr example, when animals eat seeds, nuts, flowers, etc. they poop them back out. The seeds are then fertilized back into the earth and grow into new trees or flowers. Nothing is wasted. The sad part is that the only thing man had a part in is ruining nature. Nature as a whole is a miracle. Early man appreciated it, nurtured it, respected nature. Today we destroy it for financial gain. Just my opinion. dl

well there are many such nice examples which make me feel to think and its hard to choose any one out of it.like the girrafe was like a zebra of today but due to its need for survival it changed its appearence into its long neck. then the ship of the desert, how nicely it adapted itself to the hot nature without undergoing water for several weeks, not possible for creature like us. All these adaptations are mind blowing if you think deep inside.

True that colour is a wonderful aspect of nature. I would say that the diversity in nature is what makes it wonderful. The different types of living things be it animals, plants or even humans. The knowledge of this diversity and the experience of it is what makes nature so special.
