I found this article about the healthiest foods we can eat. Sad to say, I really don't eat very many of these foods. I am going to pick some up this weekend though and give them a try. Do you eat many of the foods on this list? http://health.rosalab.net/2005/09/10/the-29-healthiest-foods-on-earth/

Some of them I do especially tomatoes, broccoli and onions. I think I am going to get a few more of the list this week. I am going shopping tomorrow and will probably pick up a few fruits and veggies. I'm going to plant some broccoli in my garden shortly. I have some fresh tomatoes now. I also have onions. I'm surprised green pepper wasnt on that list becasue I know they are a good source of vitamin C.

Those are the same foods I eat a lot of as well, but things like Avacados and Mangos I don't get much of, but those are some of the things I'm going to buy this weekend.

Thanks for the link. I read the article and found 18 of those are foods that I eat. I love fruits and vegetables! Never was much of a meat person, prefer chicken and seafood. I haven't been eating too much seafood these days, just a little to expensive for my budget right now.

Yes, seafood has always been a bit too expensive for my budget, plus I'm a bit afraid my family will not like things like salmon. I stick with fried haddock as I know everyone here likes it.

I eat a lot of cantaloupe, raisins, tomato, lemons, limes, onions, ginger, broccoli, spinach, garlic, pinto beans, and lentils. Twelve items, not too bad! lol could be better.

I probably only eat about half of those foods listed more than once a month and some of them I do not eat at all. I guess I am not all that healthy.

I dont eat the fish or the avocado because I dont like them (I force a bit of tinned tuna down from time to time in an attempt to be healthy). there are a few other things that aren't readily available locally so I probably eat almost 20 of them. I love this time of year because the salad stuff and fruit is cheaper.

I already eat many of those too. We really try to eat healthy, and my family drinks (and sells) MonaVie, which also helps. By drinking that you can supplement some of the fruits and vegetables we're supposed to eat each day (5 or 7 servings I think, which some days is easier than others to accomplish!) But I didn't respond to your discussion to sell my product (anyone who might be interested, there's a link on my profile here) Thanks for sharing the list. It can be so challenging to have a proper diet. I'm glad to get some positive reinforcement from the list!

I don't see how shellfish and crabs are healthy since they are among the the sea creatures that are the garbage cans of the sea or ocean. They filter the garbage from the ocean. I can go along with all the others but there isn't any way I'm going to eat them

Great article, Katsmeow. Thanks for sharing it with us. I eat all 29 foods on that list. I probably not as much as I should of some of them, but at least I can say I like all items.

That's phenomenal! I love all those foods. And most of them are in my daily food routine. Well I do get less of the fruits than I like. But I can always put those on my shopping list and alternate them by week. Thanks for the link!

I always thought I had a fairly healthy diet, but there are things in that list that I've never ever heard of! Once you've tried them all, perhspa you could report back and let us know what they taste like. I always have this feeling that things that are billed as being really healthy probably taste like sawdust!

Well I bought dried apricots, an avacado, and a mango to try, as well as some wheat germ, and cranberry juice to mix with my water. Most everything else I've already tried, or won't bother with... like the beans, I will have those in a soup but I'm not doing soup this week. The seafood is rather expensive and I only eat those on occasion. Much of the rest of it I've tried before and do have on occasion.

I found it interesting. The list you provided has a few things that I do eat on occasion and somewhat regularly. I like broccoli, I do eat onions, and I eat raisin toast in which I hear that raisins are good for you. I should probably try to eat more healthy foods. I thank you for putting this article up on site so I could glance it over. I also like peanuts and I see that they are also one of the many foods that are healthy.

Once again, I really appreciate the listing of health foods. I think it is good for all of us to abide by some of these regiments. Keep up the good postings!
