Are you protecting your eyes from the computer light?Don't you think you should?

I have had to reduce the brightness on my monitors at work (hazzards of the job..) and at home as my eyes tend to feel quite tired
sometimes after using the PC for some length of time which is a few good hours now that I found myLot too and the hours have increased
I do not have those screen shields but I will definitely be looking for one the next time I visit a computer shop..
Are you protecting your eyes from the harmful computer light/glare? Do you have one of those shields to cover your monitor screen? Do you think you should get one, given the amount of time you spend infront of your PC?

Haha!
I suppose it does... Are they tinted ones or those that adjust to light? I used to have a pair of the light-sensitive ones and I need to get a new pair because they broke, I am short sighted in one eye

I'm short-sighted period!
I have the light sensitive ones for everything except computer and reading.
I do sit quite a long way away from my monitor though so maybe I'm safe

I dont use an eye shield or any thing like that, and I do find that if I spend a long time in front of the computer screen that the brightness of the screen will sometimes make my head ache,so I usually try to limit my time on the internet.

If the brightness is giving you a headache, you might want to tone it down a little
