I was given a puppy by one of my sons friends, and don't know what kind it is. I'm thinking either a pitbull or boxer. Can someone please tell me what breed she is? Thank you in advance........

looks like a staffordshire bull terrier to me. my staffie looked like that as a pup. mines an irish staff they are quite a bit bigger and stockier than the average staff.

mine has the build and stance of a pitball. mines fully grown now he's 4 years old. a few of my friends have got staffies and theirs look tiny next to mine. keep an eye on my profile, i'll upload pictures of him for you later.

I'm new to this site, and apparently you can post a pic on this discussion. I don't know how to do that, so I put the pics on my profile. I just got done reading about some BSL, and that pits are illegal in Canada, and another country(don't recall the name of country) Apparently my puppy's a pit bull mix. She doesn't have the tail of a pit bull...... Any ideas from you are greatly appreciated....

I agree with Noonymouse. The puppy looks like a Pit Bull Terrier. Go here http://www.pitbullsontheweb.com/petbull/findpit.html and check out #20. That looks almost identical to your puppy, although that dog is older.

Thanks for your fast response! Like I've said to the other person who responded, I'm going to continue with my research. She really is an adorable puppy......And yes, #20 does look identical to my puppy. :-)
