Hi ashleecook! :) I'm Debbie, I'm from Malaysia, currently residing in Kuala Lumpur. I am single and currently working from home. I just started earning some money last month and looking forward to making more! I am online 24/7! I'd love to make more friends here, so add me! :):) p/s. I don't really enjoy housework, but I always envy women who do! Like my mom!

lol about the housework! when my daughter was 2 years old, she used to follow me around the house and say oh, WOW...with such wonder..every time i cleaned something..i used to say, leave it to a child to make housecleaning seem like a glamorous job! lol wow, malaysia, that is one place i'd love to see someday!

Lol! Kids can be so funny at times, right? My mom cleans all the time and pesters us when we don't. I guess it runs in the genes too because I can't stand dirt and mess, though I don't enjoy cleaning. The thing is I am allergic to dust and I'll start sneezing non-stop, my nose gets runny and becomes red like Rudolph's! :) My mom will definitely tell me to stop giving excuses if she reads this. Lol! You should come and visit Malaysia. We have a lot of interesting culture, plus gas is cheaper here than anywhere else, as as I know! ;)

Don't ever let anyone convince you that it is domestic nonsense. The world has taken a turn for the worst when on the one hand, women want to have the freedom and chances men have, but then turn around and tell women who enjoy homemaking like you do that it is not a worthwhile ambition. Being a wife and a mother is a very worthwhile profession that does not get a monetary paycheck, but has other kinds of payouts that cannot be measured. And look at Rachel Ray and others on television who are making a living out of the domestic nonsense! Good luck with your studies in nursing. It is a very worthwhile profession and very needed. Just don't let anyone tell you that the things you do for your family are not as worthwhile. I don't tell where I am from specifically unless I really know who I am talking to online, but I am in Ohio. I am a disabled grandma of 6 with 1 on the way and two grown children. I spent most of my time in the working world working in nursing homes doing everything from nursing assistant, dietary assistant, housekeeping and laundry assistant, activity assistant, and finally activity director. I have always loved working in nursing homes because the residents are so special and fun to talk to.

you are right, they are very special people to talk to. i have learned some valuable lessons from some of the seniors. i love how they each have their own unique life story and are usually so eager to share it with a young person. i have heard tales from women nearing 100 years old, about what it was like when they were my age, and how they cope with the modern world. it is truly an eye opening experience.

Yes and when you think about those who are that old and all the changes they have experienced in technology. One of the homes I worked in had a woman who was over 100 and she was one of the women who voted in the first election when women were allowed to vote. They saw the development of the automobile, the airplane, and the rocketship. They went from people using their own feet and legs for transportation, or bicycles like my grandfather did, or cars if they could afford them, to watching men walk on the moon and live to tell about it. Now they are learning how to use computers and the internet. We take so much for granted!

Hi!! I'm a grandmother from New Jersey, USA. I have three grandchildren. I also work in retail in the evenings. You don't sound boring at all, you sound like a happy content woman. I also have two cats, big cat lover that I am. I believe that a woman who enjoys the domestic duties are ususally happy with their station in life. I enjoy going to a park nearby and enjoying the nature in it, the trees, flowers ponds and the many songs the birds provide.
