Without resorting to to costly skincare products or formulas we can get a beautiful complexion from the inside out by eating these five foods. In general eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, protein and whole grains will result in healthier skin, but the nutrition and compounds found in organic green tea, olive oil, walnuts, berries, dark leafy greens are particularly helpful. Drinking green tea is helpful for warding off skin cancer and the visible signs of aging,so drink up! Olive oil, despite all the hype about the supposed benefits of fat-free diets,it turns out that we need essential fatty acids for good health as well as for more elastic, dewy skin, switch to extra virgin olive oil,it's rich in healthy monounsaturated fats. Walnuts,omega-3 oils(salmon if you are fish eater)in walnuts is important for flexible, plump, younger looking skin.but,be sure not to heat it. Blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries they are all delicious and they give our complexions and protect skin cells. Dark leafy greens like kale and spinach are great for clearing up acne, also carrots and broccoli. Drinking enough water is an all important key to beautiful skin, since even mild dehydration can result in visible aging and dryness. Are you concern about your skin?

hi roshand8 well lucky me I ate blueberries, and cooked in olive oil, drank green tea, and had dark green kaleleaves for my lunch so I am keeping my skin in good shape. I really do have a good complexion and I am 81 going on 82 in November. I eat a lot of veggies and fruits, lean protein and whole grains too. Also I cleanse my face every night with nozema skin cream and warm water.

I have been trying to take good care of my skin (using moisturizers) since I was a teenager, although I have had to much sun exposure. I am now after many years of eating the wrong foods trying to eat heart healthy. This is very good for the skin as well. As I age I realize that you really are what you eat. I cannot find a green tea that I like and have tried many different kinds, I am not a fan of hot tea at all. I keep hoping to come across a good hot tea (green) any suggestions? I wish i had realized at a lot younger age just how damaging the sun is to my skin.
