Today, Criticism is on its verge and we got criticised for most of the thing we do in our life. We all criticise each other without any sense. Well an American president has said that if you are not criticised then you are not doing too much. What do you think that about this? What do you think that getting criticised is a positive or negative aspect of life? Isn't criticism just to insult or to hurt somebody?

well, i think it depends.. for me, criticism has its good and bad side.. first, it is good since it makes people stronger and more confident.. it also helps to remind them to give what is better than their best since one can be better in this way.. but there are times where criticism is a bad side because some people abuse others by criticizing them or they tend to step on other people's dignity by doing it... the good or bad side would depend upon the intention of doing it and how people would take other's criticism...

Well in some aspect i support you for that. We can take criticism for good and then just point out how we can do better. But it depends on point of view and attitude of the person too who is being getting criticised. Coz if a person is not that strong then he won't stand against any type of criticism. Well thanks for discussion. Jesse.

For me, I say that criticism is a good feedback because I believe that through criticism we will learn so much from it and we will grow up from that criticism.. I think it is up to the person on how he/she will accept the feedback that he/she gets.. If that person our not open minded and don't know how to accept feedback then it may be a bad effect for him/her.. She/he will take it negative and because of this she/he will might lose confident in his/her self.. I believe that each one of us need to be criticized no matter how intelligent, beautiful and rich a person is because I know that each one of us has its own "other side" wherein we do not know that we are already doing something wrong and we might hurt the feelings of others.. Sometimes, we were thinking that we are doing this because it is for the own good of others but others don't exactly think the same as what we think.. We need others for us to learn from the mistakes that we have done because we "ourselves", we cannot teach our own mistake especially when we know that we are happy doing it.. I hope you get my point.. Happy posting!

Let's focus on the negative side of criticism. If the person you criticise has low self steem he will feel so low and you are hurting him. He might think of it negatively. If the person is confident he will use the criticism to change all his short comings. Criticism can break or make the personality of the person.

You're absolutely right. It depends upon point of view and confidence. Besides, confidence is really an imp. part of our life and we should have it coz thats the ladder of sucess. While having low-esteem is like having a negative side of life and not seeing the things they were supposed to be seen as.Thanks for your comment. Jesse.
