IE has 85% of the browsing market and so hackers target it. If you can get away from Microsoft then you get away from hackers. That is one of the main reasons I use Firefox and I've used it from Version 1 and Mozilla/Netscape before that. It took IE to V7.0 to implement tags which have been a very useful part of Firefox for a long time.

Well, for me firefox is faster and doesn't eat up a lot of memory. I can surf up to 15 tabs active without hanging, as compared with my IE7, even with no tabs it eats up my CPU and memory usage. Plus Firefox has virtually no bugs that I know. So I think it's better to use firefox.

I'd agree with that, if it's IE6. Now that I got IE7(because of that upgrade that automatically happened without me knowing it), I prefer Firefox. Opera too, sometimes.

I think the edge of firefox is customization. Other browsers has addon too but firefox has better one. One could make it more secure, more functional, adapt to individual needs and very user oriented. All other browsers force us to adapt to them.
