a magazine journalist or editor offers you an amount of money and asks you to pose nude for the cover of his journal... How much should they offer you , to pose nude and take naked pictures of you!

I'd more likely have to go with the larger counteroffer to keep my clothes ON! Just Thinking of preventing the psychological damage and Years in therapy for all those poor traumatised folks forced to witness my bits swingin' in the wind on front pages and billboards...

I wouldn't want to do it and it would also ruin my chances at work, so in the long run the only option would be they'd pay me enough as to I'd have to never work again. I enjoy my work and I have my pride so I won't do it.

I've been reading the responses to this discussion, as I usually do before posting my own response, and I have to say, you certainly have stirred the pot with this one. Congratulations! Okay, first of all, I am married, and I am a mother, and I work for the state government, so anything like this that I agree to would have to be presented to me with documentation. In other words, I would have to have a contract written up stating the amount of compensation I would receive (that way I don't get screwed in the end, lol) and that I would have to approve which photo(s) the photographer would publish. I would also have a stipulation in the contract stating that I would be the sole owner of the original photos (including the negatives), and the photographer would have to get permission from me in writing any time he/she wanted to distribute any other photos. Plus, I would have to get royalties for every time the initial photo(s) are used in any way. Now, according to Hollywood standards I may not have a million dollar body, but I think I'm pretty darn hot, and I've never come across anyone who called me ugly, and I have a great personality, so yeah, give me a million dollars with a contract outlining the above stipulations, and, as long as my husband is okay with it, I'll do it!
