I was wondering if any of you have any good ways to relieve the burn of a sunburn or just any like 'home remedies' you have for one. I got a bad burn on the back of my neck and am looking for any ideas or suggestions you guys have to make it feel better. I know about aloe vera plants and aloe vera gels. I currently am using Aloe Vera gel on it. I am just wondering if there are any other ways to deal with it. -Kelli

I haven't heard of that product before. I don't think I've seen it in stores either, so it probably is hard to find around here, too. I don't have a lot of money right now, but I may have to look into that for future use. Thanks.

The blue aloe gel is really the best. Also, a cool shower helps to take the sting of the burn away.

It seems I'm the only one not using the blue aloe gel. haha. I will have to try the cold shower. Thanks.

Aloe vera gel is excellent for relieving sunburn pain and helping skin heal quicker. - Stay in the shade until the sunburn is healed. Any additional sun exposure will only increase the severity of the burn. - Take a cool (not cold) bath, or gently apply cool, wet compresses to the skin to help alleviate the pain. :)
