i am fairly new here & i have noticed a problem.with people in here & their constant on & on dross & piffle about grammar and spelling.
HUH so whats that all about then.
so some use txt and sometimes even slang,whats the big deal with that?????
do those who complain about it feel they are better than the rest with your perfect wording and spelling & what not.
well news flash you aint. YOU AINT OR YOU ARE NOT.
now i am aware that some peoples typing skills are just not there at all.perhaps thats because they really are from a non english spoken counrty,that does not mean you single them out and make them fell like s&7t, same as those who CHOOSE to use txt at times.
you all aint as perfect as you make it.look you missed a coma.
go figure it or i shall report it for discrimination to people and ethnic groups.
Oh and if i feel like it i will go round picking up on things you say like cookie.i say its a biscuit. see thats allowed aint it.

Oh YES!!! I'm right with you on this. Its the content that counts so let the spelling and grammar police go and use their skills elsewhere if they dont like it. I ain't bovvered how people spell as long as I can get the gist of what they're saying. You dont need an English language degree to have a valid opinion...

I agree with you that we should not police each other's grammar and spelling. I must admit I have been driven to take the low road on that subject a couple of times. My excuse (as lame as it is), is that some people on here are constantly on the attack. They ignore a chance to debate based on reason and logic, and instead fling mud. When someone continually calls people names, insults their intelligence, etc. and their posts are loaded with errors, it becomes tempting to take a shot below the proverbial belt. I have witnessed others who nit pick about grammar and spelling, also do it to in defense of someone else. We should all try and stay above such pettiness. Welcome to mylot.
