ok here is the thing with my cell phone battery, i can charge it and it will get a full charge and then i can take it off and i can leave it laying around all day and the bars never go down, i mean literally it can last for days without charging but when i start to talk on the phone thats when the battery starts going and from a full charge that can last about four hours or so on my cell phone if i talk for more than about four hours i have to charge the phone...and i was just wondering if its like that with everyone else's and if its using more batteries because of the settings like the lights nad things because i ask about my laptop once and they were like if you turn your settings down like your lights and all of that it will last longer..so what do you all think? thanks for taking the time to read my discussion and i hope that you all have a great day...

Yes your phone is completely normal. The battery can last for days when you're not using your phone, but as soon as you start talking, the battery starts working and gets drained. I'm not really sure about lights and stuff, it's just the talk time, that really drains the battery.

The same happens with me when i charge my phone and never talk.it stays for a long time, but when i speak to friends the bars keep decreasing. There was a time in my first phone.the battery would be fully charged, when the phone rings the battery would completely drain out and the phone would switch off.

One thing that drains the battery of a cell. phone the quickest is talking on it... Also, if any type of lighting, either blinking or solid, will drain the battery quicker... If you have data service & go on internet, that can do it as well... Also, sending messages can eat up your battery, receiving a message can do it as well, though not as much... If you put your phone on vibrate, it drains the battery quicker than putting it on ring...
