american idle judge bitten by shark

i just heard on the news that the host ryan was bitten by a shark over the weekend but apparently he is ok and there isn't much damage done to him, i hadn't ever heard about it before now but i think that its something that we are just now hearing about it and most of the time when something happens to a celebrity it takes less than a hour to hear about things, and he was talking about there was a thousand people in the water and he was the one that had to get bitten by it...so i was just wondering if you all have heard about this before now and what do you think about it, because i hadn't heard about it and even if he wasn't a celebrity i would have thought that it would have been on the news...thanks for taking the time to read my discussion and i hope that you all have a great day!

I haven't heard anything about this. Like you said, it should have been news as soon as it happened. Since he is the host of such a popular show. I will keep my ears open, to see if it is on tonight's news.

I just read about the incident. He said that the shark swam by and attacked his toe. He got three holes in his toe and the shark left one of his teeth. Must have been a rather small shark.

Ryan Seacrest was taking a swim in the Pacific Ocean in Mexico on Sunday when he was bitten by a shark, he said on his KIIS-FM radio show Monday.
The "American Idol" host said he was "about eight feet out" when he felt something swim by him."I thought it was a stick," he said. "I wasn't sure what had happened."Then, he said, "I saw it swim! He took a bite, and he left."Seacrest, 33, said the shark's tooth "wasn't a great thing to find. It was like finding a splinter!"Although he said he was "in pain," the "American Idol" host wasn't hurt too badly, but said he "needed to take an Advil."Asked by his radio co-host if anyone else was bitten, Seacrest said: "No, just me, of course! There were like 1,000 people in the ocean, and I get bit by the shark!"A spy told the New York Post's Page Six gossip column that Seacrest was swimming in front of LG Villa Cabo, that the shark was a sand shark and that it chomped on Seacrest's toe.

It sounds like it could have been alot worse. It would have been really weird if he were killed by the shark. People have gotten so used to seeing him. I guess just becasue you are a celebrity you are not immune to such things happening to you.
I'm glad seacrest is ok.
