why do people not answer private calls? or do you answer them? is it because you get too many and get pranked so you dont pick up? or because you know who it is? or because you just dont like the fact people calling on private? or because you dont like wondering who is on the othr end and dont like suprises? answers please mine is because im not sure who it is it might not be someone who i want to chat to and it might be aguy and wouldnt want to pick it up in front of my parents as they are strict so dont pick it up also if im avoiding someone it might be there call thats why what about you

yes i do answer private calls. it maybe something important or from someone i know who lost his/her phone or something like that. i dont answer mostly calls if i know who it is from....lol. for example if it is from my older sister who i know will just rant at something and waste my time. lol. i dont avoid private calls for i know that they wont stop unless i pick up the phone.

I do not like private and unknown caller ID. I know my friends phones are not blocked and the only person I know that calls me on an unknown or private number is my cousin and he lives in London. Maybe its because I don't have international plan on my phone so it doesn't recognize that its from london. Other than that, I don't understand why people, in America, call and make their numbers private. I don't answer them and if they don't leave a voicemail, oh well. It must have been not that important.

hey well loads of peopel leave there number on private.. i do also .. but this is because some times i accidently call some one i wasnt meant to so id rather be on private than thme knowing who it is !
another reason is because sometimes the person i am calling i think they might not pick up if it was me .. for example lets say im meeting up with some one and there getting late sometimes they avoid calls so i would rather call on private !
i never leave voicemails even if it is important because i just dont like speaking to my self on a answer machine kind of thing ...

I don't answer them because none of my friends or family have private numbers. So it can't be anyone that knows me calling.
Most of the time it's someone selling, and I really don't have the time to fool with them. So on my phone I have a blocker, if their number is private, it won't even ring. It's wonderful
