As I was skimming through the article, I realized that it would be a good idea to share it. I know that most of them are things that I need to work on. For instance, learning to say no, having a place for everything, not being a slave to e-mail and automatic bill pay. I need to learn the art of saying no when I do not want to do something, instead of saying yes, just because I feel I would feel guilty if I said yes. As far as finding a place for everything, I guess I should start by finding a bigger place. Anybody who post on Mylot is going to be a slave to e-mail. And I just don't trust any company enough to allow them to just pull money from my account on a monthly basis. I want to approve of the chargers, before sending them any money. Read all twelve and let me know which ones work for you and which don't.

Hey Darlin, I don't see the link. But I can make some comments on what you have said. I do spend lots of time on my email, of course mostly mylot like you said. I don't do automatic bill pay neither. I would love to be organized and have a place for everything. I have the pile system, a pile here and a plie there, at least I know whats in the pile, well most of the time, hehe.

I would love to read all 12 Rozie, however I don't see the list. Was it an article on line that you were reading?

You were like me, you had a hard time sayig no when you felt that a person had a genuine need. But there still comes a time when a person has to face the problems in their own life and deal with them so that they themselves can become self sufficient. If you continue to bail them out, it will not help, but cripple them in the long run. I am glad that this article was enlightening for you, as it was for me also.

I got it Rozie and I need help with all of them especially with cleaning out my closets (which were supposed to be done months ago) and the cleaning out of my purse. It gets so crazy in there. I had to learn how to say now a few years back and it has made things better for me. There was this one person in particular who I spoiled with giving money and it only bothered me for the simple fact that when I was down and out, I couldn't receive any help and she had her grown daughter living with her and she would always complain about her daughter not helping out around the house as far as cleaning or with the finances. Mind you, I am a single mom with 3 boys. So I said enough is enough, no more giving out money during tax time and in between that. I know she misses it but hey, I had no choice. The article was very informative and I thank you for sharing.

I know what you mean. I prefer to make the monthly payments online and not set it at automatic especially if the amounts differ month to month. Gotta make sure there is enough in the bank before I can send it off :) I'll go and read the list :O) thanks Rozie.
