So when my computer dealer ask me with one I prefer, single channel or dual channel RAM and also he recommended to use "kingstone" one? I didn't know how to answer. I want to upgrade to 2GB RAM. Are there different between using single channel or dual channel?

Dual channel would be your best bet. The difference is, well dual channel has, well 2 channels. I don't really know, but to simply put it it's like the dual core of the RAM, I think. But I've tested it for performance, and man I tell you, dual channel RAM is definitely better. Even my professor says so.

thank's a lot. I think dual channel is better than single channel, too.

i prefer dual channel if we speak about ram also because they have better performances in relation to single channels and in fact normally prices for dual channels are higher than single one as well!!

I haven't use a dual channel yet because they are expensive but for a high end rigs they are highly recommended. DC RAM are manufactured specifically to have an identical properties, qualities and performance the main reason they are sold in pairs. Better check out review sites to see the performance difference of a single and dual chanel RAM. For a gamer, compromising one component specs is a performance lost.
